NTA Deceit
What Has Happened?
The Ridiculous result for NEET examination provided by NTA on 4th of
June 2024 which was a shock to everyone and also unexpected, because in our knowledge never before
results has been displayed as quick as this year’s result and what’s more
shocking is they displayed the final answer key a day before the result that was
on 3rd of June 2024 and without any delay they displayed the score card of NEET
examination on just the very day, when the result of Election too was on display.
Furthermore, Intriguing thing to notice in result was the
marks and number of students getting 720 out of 720 marks in this examination,
the number of students that got this marks are about 62 Students, that means
even if you score, out of marks you aren’t fortunate enough to get into one of
the best colleges of medical science recognised by not only in India but entire
world that AIIMS, Delhi and moving further the cut off inflation is so high
that even after 700 or 690 marks Students are in worry whether they would get
there dream college or no.
A Concern is raised after looking at the
result of top 100 Students, that, Students with similar code, have achieved same
marks, now similar code indicates that those students were from same or close
by region and they received same score, we are not pointing fingers at students, they might be legit but we are raising an important concern as to how this
situation come to existence and are surely are demanding an answer by NTA. Also the
Surnames of those students were not displayed in result while the coaching
board displayed their names with surnames, we need an answer by NTA as to why
or how this mistake took place?
And there was an issue that came up was some students
received 718 and 719 marks which is normally not possible but NTA did reply
saying they used normalisation formula, which was in itself a
problematic move…
(why was it problematic is explained in why did it happen section)
Which ultimately leads us to the next question, why did this
happen? Why did cut off inflation go so high? Why and How did so many Students
score out of marks? Was there a paper leak, was there some sort of scam or Was
there some sort of mistake by the organisation.
Why did it happen?
There are Many Myths that are maybe true or maybe false we can’t
surely say but any sensible human would understand by seeing the result that
there surely is something fishy that we can’t digest because never before so
many students as this time, have ever achieved out of marks.
So coming to answer as to why did the Cut off inflation went
so high, the reasons can be as the following:
1.Normalisation Method Used
Normalisation method is a means to give grace marks to
students that had an loss of time during the examination, giving an example,
the paper was of 3 hours but the student got only 1 hour and the student solved
60 questions correctly in that 60 minutes that means if student would have had
the extra 2 hours, that the student could have solved more 120 questions correctly
(which is a ridiculous and a stupid assumption in itself) so that student gets
the marks for all 180 questions that is 720 marks.
If that Student makes a mistake in let's say 2 questions in the 60
questions that the student solved, then it is assumed that he could have made a
mistake of 4 questions in 120 questions and according to this “Assumption” that
the student would have solved rest all questions correctly the marks are provided which is very very unfair for those students that solved
all the 180 question properly in given 3 hours.
2.Paper Leak Issue
There are many News channels and YouTube channels did
stated this, that the paper was a leak or paper was sold, truly we can’t really
explain as to what happened due to lack of proof about it, but if anything like
a paper leak did happened then it’s a shame to NTA, that a prestigious
examination like NEET that is conducted only once in a year for the entire
world by our education system and they couldn't even handle the security of the paper.
Even in the latter case if the paper was being sold it’s a
shame for NTA to not function in the proper manner by lacking proper measures
for the security of the paper.
These are possibly two reasons why the cut off inflation is
so high in this year’s result provided by NTA.
What can we do?
In Times like this it’s best to raise our voices and point
our fingers and ask for an answer to the Organisation as to why has this
happened that even if students are getting out of marks they aren’t getting
their dream college? Why is the Cut off inflation so high?
Here are Some Legitimate Questions whose answer NTA and Our
Education System Should give.
- Why was it not informed
beforehand that NTA is going to normalise the marks for students that got
less time?
- Where is the List of
Students Whose Marks are normalised?
- If Marks are Normalised
then Students that gave the examination in proper time, why is the result
of both of them in one accord?
- Why the medical seats and
government colleges so less even after knowing the magnitude of students
appearing for examination?
What may happen?
Well at this point there are three things that may happen
- Re NEET for students whose
marks were normalised
- Re NEET for Everyone
- No Changes in anything and
this situation will go unseen
Although the last situation is very unlikely but we never truly know how unexpected situation may become...
At last even we don't know till where extend this situation will go and what decisions Our Education System Will make for this Situation
We all are waiting for some response and some answer by NTA.
